In My "Becoming" Era

It started out really simple. My daughter and a thought... nothing major, no big deal, just her saying, “Mama, you need some new pictures of yourself."

I thought to myself, a brand photoshoot would actually be a great idea. Until then, let's go play with the camera and have a little fun. She loves to learn some tricks of the trade, anyway.

This wasn't about being "perfect". This is about being present. About being seen by the people who matter most. About letting myself be captured in the middle of becoming. Honestly, I never stop evolving and I have yet again, stepping into new magic where my creativity and genuine love have come to rise.

We didn’t style anything fancy. I wasn’t barefoot in a meadow with flowing fabric and curated props. I was just me... standing in the sunshine while my daughter looked at me through her lens. Honestly, it felt kind of sacred. Like she was witnessing something I often forget to honor in myself.

This moment reminded me why I do what I do. Why I created my studio. Why I teach, mentor, create, and share the magic of art and movement and story.

It’s not about the right pose, or perfect timing. It’s about offering women a space to rediscover themselves (as mothers, artists, mystics, visionaries, rebels). To feel what it means to be whole again. To be seen, even when we feel messy or uncertain.

Especially then.

And maybe this wasn’t a professional photo shoot.

But it was a moment of truth.

And sometimes that’s all it takes to bring you back into alignment... to remember that the light you’ve been chasing is already yours.

I didn’t realize how much I needed to see myself from a new perspective.
